After a long, bitter, hard fought campaign<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Between a liar and a man with no brain<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Only one State remained so divided<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The winner might have to be decided<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By Chad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The voters had spoken in Florida<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They’d said ..er, well, ah.., you know,..duh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We can’t decide with any precision,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So let someone else make the decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How about Chad?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Holena Ballot felt somebody blew it<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When she was poked everyone knew it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She wasn’t dimpled, she never dangled,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And nothing was loose with nothing mangled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not like that Chad!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So the recount got started and some more<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Votes were added to for the side of Al Gore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Bush backers said, “That just isn’t fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You’ve altered the rules so don’t even dare<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Count that Chad”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So the case was sent to the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The judges said, “Stop! You’ll have to abort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We can’t say for certain which dents are votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are no guidelines and there are no notes<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About that Chad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Well, now you know children how five to four<\/p>\n\n\n\n
